EDGERTON—Ellen and Allen “Bud” Farrington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Two Brothers Bar, 116 W. Fulton St., Edgerton. Farrington and Ellen Quinn were married June 27, 1959, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Janesville. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from the Edgerton School District. Their family includes Ruth Farrington and Rick Olson, Janesville; Barb and Kevin Hemenway, and Ed Farrington, all of Edgerton. They also have four grandchildren.

ELKHORN—Elaine and Chuck Statz will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in Durango, Colo. Statz and Elaine Kubusta were married Aug. 1, 1959, in Oshkosh. They are both retired from the Elkhorn area school district.
