McKittrick and Holsen

Megan McKittrick and Robert Holsen are engaged and planning a Saturday, Aug. 22, wedding in Oconomowoc. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jenny (Sands) and Brian McKittrick, Oconomowoc. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School, Oconomowoc, in 2002, and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from UW-Milwaukee in 2006. She is employed by Top Floor Technologies, New Berlin, as an account manager. Her fiancé is the son of Deb and Ted Holsen, Oconomowoc. He graduated from Oconomowoc High School, Oconomowoc, in 2001, and received a bachelor’s degree in biology from UW-Stevens Point in 2006. He is currently attending Marquette University School of Dentistry, Milwaukee. He will graduate in May of 2010.

Melanie Jazinski and Derek Anderson are engaged and planning a Saturday, Nov. 28, wedding in Scottsdale, Ariz. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kari Jazinski and Matthew Chambers, Milwaukee. She graduated from Nicolet High School, Glendale, in 2001, and received a degree in kinesiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., in 2006. She is currently attending Ohio State University to receive a master’s degree in education. Her fiancé is the son of Cindy and Rick Anderson, Elkhorn. He graduated from Elkhorn High School, Elkhorn, in 1999, and received a degree in finance from Arizona State University, Phoenix, Ariz., in 2003. He is currently a doctoral candidate in psychology at Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

She is employed by First American Title Insurance Company, Korea. The groom graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 1999. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from UW-Madison in 2003, and a doctorate in politics from University of Exeter, United Kingdom, in 2008. He is employed by the Oxford University, United Kingdom. The newlyweds reside in Oxford, United Kingdom and Seoul, South Korea.

JANESVILLE—Marion and Alvin Quade celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends at their cottage in La Crosse. Quade and Marion Rogers were married June 23, 1944, in Janesville. He is retired from Janesville Products, Janesville. Their family includes Sherrie and Jay Farrington, Rio; Karen and Dave Keelin, Edgerton; and the late Richard Quade. They also have seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildern.
