She is employed by Oyster Point Family Practice, Newport News, Va., as a physician’s assistant.Her fiancé is the son of Mirjam and Mark Melin, Clinton. He graduated from Clinton High School, Clinton, in 2000, and received a degree in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Fla., in 2005. He is employed by the U.S. Air Force, Newport, Va., as a pilot.

DELAVAN—Thelma and Ted Montsma will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Jamaica. Montsma and Thelma Talsma were married Aug. 21, 1959, at Racine Christian Reformed Church, Racine. He is retired from Montsma Builders, Delavan.
