She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit, in 2001, and received a degree in finance from Carroll College, Waukesha, in 2005. She is employed by Johnson Controls, Inc., Milwaukee. Her fiancé is the son of Deborah and Duwayne Brockman, Brodhead. He graduated from Parkview High School, Orfordville, in 2001, and is working to receive his apprenticeship while employed through the Boilermakers Local 107, Waukesha.

He is retired from JATCO, Janesville. She is retired from Amphenol, Janesville.
