Amylynn Meissner and Christopher Buchach are engaged and planning a May 31 wedding in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of James Meissner, Grand Rapids, and the late Linda Meissner. She graduated from West Catholic High School, Grand Rapids, in 1994, earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Western Michigan University, in 1998, and a master’s degree in education from Grand Valley State University in 2003. She is an elementary teacher for the Grandville Public Schools, Grandville, Mich.
Her fiancé is the son of Michael and Shirley Buchach, 664 Sunset Drive, Janesville. He graduated from Parker High School, in 1996, received a bachelor’s degree from Augustana College, in 2000, and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 2004. He is completing his residency in diagnostic radiology in Grand Rapids.

MILTON—Luella and Clifford Carroll, 893 Arthur Drive, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary April 10. Their children will host a gathering at the Coachman’s Inn, Stoughton.
Carroll and Luella Swenson were married April 10, 1943. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from the Milton School District.
Their family includes Terry and Joyce Carroll, Dodgeville; Rick and Bonnie Carroll and Steven Carroll, all of Milton; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Katherine “Kate” Subrt and Brian Hommen were married Feb. 8 at Ka’anapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii.
Their parents are Rita and Wayne Subrt of Janesville and Dennis Hommen of Elkhorn.
The bride graduated from Craig High School, in 1996. and is employed at Lab Safety in Janesville.
The groom graduated from Elkhorn Area High School, in 1996, and is employed at Ready Electric, Fort Atkinson.
The newlyweds live in Elkhorn.

CLINTON—Eleanor and Warren Petitt, 508 High., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a 1 to 4 p.m. open house Sunday, April 20, at Clinton Town hall, County X.
Petitt and Eleanor Jensen were married May 1, 1948, in Beloit. He is retired from Fairbanks Morse. She is retired from the Clinton Schools.
Their family includes Linda and Ron Loomis, Beloit; Debbie and Doug Armfield, Connie and Lynn Tracy, Clinton; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
