Shannon and Sally Henning were married July 12, 1958, in Janesville. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. Their family includes Randy Shannon; Vicki Shannon and Dave Gunn, both of Edgerton; Rick and Denise Shannon, Eau Claire; Wally and Nancy Shannon, Evansville; Kelly and Jim Nottestad, Holmen. They also have 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Mary and Walt Chapman will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family vacation.
Chapman and Mary Vander Putten were married July 15, 1968, at Submarine Memorial Chapel, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He is a retired teacher from the Marshfield School District. She is a retired teacher from Mid-State Technical College and is a yoga instructor. Their family includes Julie Chapman, Green Bay, and Joel and Amy Chapman, Woodstock, Ill.

Terrell and Gail Herstad were married July 16, 1983, in Clinton. He is employed by Spacesaver Corp, Fort Atkinson. She is employed by the City of Janesville. Their family includes Amanda and Caroline Terrell, both of Janesville.

He graduated from Camp Hill High School, Camp Hill, Pa., in 1999 and received a degree in computer science from Georgia Tech in 2003. He was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. JANESVILLE—Mary Lou and Louis Sorensen celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to northern Wisconsin.
Sorensen and Mary Lou Guarascio were married July 12, 1958, in Racine. Their family includes Joseph and Cathryn Leibfried and John and Deborah Straw, all of Janesville, and four grandchildren.

MILTON—Marion and Stuart Paul celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family picnic on June 29.
Paul and Marion Hutchins were married June 26, 1948, in Roscoe, Ill. He is a lifelong farmer in the Milton area. She graduated from Milton College in 1948, was a homemaker, a correspondent for The Janesville Gazette, and later worked with the Milton Courier and Blain’s Farm & Fleet. Their family includes Charles and Alice Paul, Whitewater; Sue and Mike Murphy, Mount Horeb; Ann and Warren Brown; Jane and Terry Metcalf and John and Mary Paul, all of Milton. They also have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

EDGERTON—Marge and Robert Bruhn celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Lake House Inn, Edgerton, on June 27. They also plan a family trip to Florida in October.
Bruhn and Marge Swenson were married June 26, 1948, in Edgerton. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville, and she is retired as the director of Edgerton Housing Authority. Their family includes Jim and Kim Bruhn, Hutchinson, Minn.; Nancy and John Potter, Janesville; Barbara and Dean Bruhn, Shoreview, Minn.; Jayne and Mark Turner, Fitchburg and four grandchildren.

He received a bachelor's degree in business administration and a double major in economics and production operations management from UW-Whitewater in 2005. He is employed by Sub Zero/Wolf Appliance, Fitchburg, as a production planner.

The bride graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1987, UW-Whitewater in 1991 and received her master’s degree in 2002 from Cardinal Stritch College, Milwaukee, in 2002. She is employed by the Milwaukee Public Schools as a teacher. The groom graduated from Green Bay East High School, Green Bay, in 1996, and Lawrence University, Appleton, in 2000. He received his master’s and doctoral degrees from Argosy University, Schaumburg, Ill., in 2006. He is employed by Winnebago Mental Health Institute as a clinical psychologist.

The bride is currently studying to receive her bachelor’s degree in human resource management through the University of Wisconsin online. She is employed by Culver’s, Janesville, as a manager. The groom is currently studying to receive his master’s degree in computer programming through the University of Phoenix online. He is employed by Fiskar’s Brands, Madison, as a server engineer/programmer.
The newlyweds live in Janesville.

Their parents are Carol and Mike Fleig, Janesville, and Karen Carlson, Conventry, R.I., and Lynn Messmore, Westport, Mass. Amie Ehle, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Ryan Ehle, Jack LaColle and Mike Defranco, friends of the groom, were the best men.
The bride is employed as a preschool teacher at Cargill Christian Preschool, Janesville. The groom is the owner of Advanced Home Repair, Janesville. The newlyweds live in Janesville.
