She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2003, and received a degree in biblical and theological studies and music composition from Northwestern College, Roseville, Minn., in 2007. Her fiancé is the son of Hanling Hsiao, Woodbury, Minn. He graduated from Woodbury Senior High School, Woodbury, Minn., in 2003, and received a degree in chemical engineering from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Minneapolis. He is a doctoral degree candidate at UW-Madison.
