ALBANY—Elaine and Lyle Trow will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, July 6, at The Albany Lions Club, Albany.
Trow and Elaine Bleitz were married July 6, 1958, in Martinsville, Ill. He is a retired farmer turned pastor. She retired as a registered nurse.
Their family includes Mary Ann and Bruce Deys, Brick, N.J.; Marcia and Paul Walter, Westmont, N.J.; Darrel and Julie Trow, Madison; Timothy and Kathy Trow, Audubon, N.J.; Thomas Trow, Stoughton; and nine grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Audrey and Ralph Reese will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and boat trip June 26.
Reese and Audrey Elaine Verstoppen were married June 26, 1958, in Evansville. He is retired from Federal Life Insurance, Janesville. She is a retired office assistant. Their family includes Debra Ann Reese, Janesville; Jeffery and Dani Reese, Wind Lake; and three grandchildren.

Wixom and Judith Kay Johnson were married June 28, 1958, in Topeka, Kan. He is retired and she works part-time at Kwik Trip, Janesville.

They also have 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Splan and Alice Moody were married December 31, 1947, in Carlton, Ga. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from the Clinton school system. Their family includes Tanjore and Laurie Splan, Ronald and Joyce Splan, all of Beloit; Carolyn and David Cohen, Troy, Mich.; Joe Splan, Mike and Kelly Splan, all of Janesville; and John Splan, Avalon. They also have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her fiancé is the son of Norrine and Tom Langer, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1981. He received degrees in marketing and management from UW-Madison in 1986 and from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1989. He is employed by Wells Fargo Health Services in Minneapolis.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Beth and Karl Schmidt, Orfordville. She graduated from Parkview High School, Orfordville, in 2001, and received a degree in dietetics from UW-Madison, in 2006. She is currently attending Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Ill., to receive her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics. She is an intern at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, Ill.
Her fiancé is the son of Patti and Joe Wellnitz, Orfordville. He graduated from Parkview High School, Orfordville, in 2001. He is employed with Hughes Farms, Janesville.
