WHITEWATER—Veda and John “Jack” L. Fearn, N7374 Chapel Drive, will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary.
Fearn and Veda Nevel were married Feb. 28, 1953, in Garden Prairie, Ill. He is retired from Muller Pinehurst Dairy, Rockford, Ill. She is retired from Rockford Burrall Machine Co., Rockford, Ill.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Timothy and Brenda Krueger, Janesville, and Timothy and Barbara Boland, Eastman. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1996, and received a human services degree from Upper Iowa University, Janesville, in 2005. She is a youth care worker at Maryville Academy, Durand, Ill.
Her fiancé is the son of Jody Salas, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School in 1997 and is employed at Lear Seating, Janesville.

Remer and Patricia Lee Maxon were married March 6, 1948, in Williams Bay. They are retired.
