Amanda M. Zabel and Nicholas R. Purkapile were married July 7 at First United Methodist Church, Beloit.
Their parents are Laura and Terry Zabel, Beloit, and Debbie and Rick Purkapile, Evansville.
Tallie Nelson was the maid of honor. Eric Patterson, cousin of the groom, was the best man.
The bride received psychology degree from UW-Madison in 2007.
The groom received an economics degree from UW-Madison and is employed with M & I Bank, Hilldale Branch, Madison.
The newlyweds live in Madison.
