Engagement

Christina Allaback and are engaged and planning an August wedding in New Port, Ore.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Jackie Allaback, Milton. She graduated from Milton High School in 1995. Also, she attended Lawrence University, Second City Comedy Club and Illinois State University and is attending University of Oregon for a ph. d in theatre.
Her fiancé is the son of Marlene and Richard Townsend, Eugene, Ore. He graduated from North Eugene High School in 1996. Also, he attended the Full Sail Institute, Miami, Fla. and University of Oregon. He is a musician and an information technology consultant.

Thompson and Jacobson

Wedding

Kelly A. Thompson and Matthew A. Jacobson were married June 30 at Zion Lutheran Church, Janesville.
Their parents are Candace and David Thompson, Janesville, and Antoinette and Leslie Jacobson, Beloit.
Amber Thompson, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Mark Jacobson, brother of the groom, was the best man.
The bride received an associate degree in police science from Blackhawk Technical College and is a police officer for the city of Fitchburg.
The groom received a bachelor’s degree in sociology with criminal justice emphasis from UW-Whitewater and is a deputy sheriff for Rock County.
The newlyweds live in Janesville.

Boettcher

Anniversary

JANESVILLE—Sue and Dave Boettcher, 3825 E. Rotamer Road, celebrated their 35th anniversary by attending the “White Christmas” Dec. 1 at The Armory. Also, they will take a trip to NASCAR in Las Vegas in March.
Boettcher and Sue Dennison were married Dec. 1, 1972, at Cargill United Methodist Church, Janesville. He is an engineer technician at Alliant Energy. She is an executive director of Edgerton Housing Authority.
Their family includes: Jay and Deanna Boettcher; Janna Boettcher and Adam Erickson; William Boettcher, and three grandchildren.
