Catherine Morse and Kirk Meicher France are engaged and planning a May 24 wedding at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church, Janesville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dorothy and Andrew Morse, 1110 S. Grant Ave., Janesville. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2001, and is employed at Bank Mutual, Janesville.
Her fiancé is the son of Thomas France, Stoughton, and the late Grace France. He graduated from Stoughton High School in 1994 and from UW-Madison in 1998. He is employed at Bank Mutual, Monona.

Moore and Skrobutanas

Engagement

Haley Moore and Christopher Skrobutanas are engaged and planning a June 28 wedding at St. Joseph’s Church, Appleton.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark Moore, Lake Geneva, and Jarolyn Moore, Whitewater. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work from UW-Whitewater in 2006 and a master’s degree in counseling from Lakeland College in 2007.
Her fiancé is the son of Ed and Audrey Skrobutanas, Green Bay. He received a master’s degree in professional accountancy from UW-Whitewater in 2005 and is a certified public accountant with Virchow, Krause & Co., Appleton.

Wedding

Judy Czerwonka and William G. Hicks were married Dec. 29 at St. John Vianney Church, Janesville.
Their parents are the Norma Phillips, 2135 Mole Ave., Janesville, the late Ray Phillips, Ruth Hicks and William S. Hicks.
Amy Cottone, daughter of the bride, was the matron of honor. Joe Hicks, son of the groom, was the best man.
The bride graduated from Janesville Senior High School in 1967 and is an administrative assistant for the agricultural/seasonal division at Blain Supply.
The groom graduated from Iowa State University in Ames in 1960, and is a veterinarian at Janesville Veterinary Clinic.
The newlyweds live at 1825 Wesley Ave., Janesville.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah—Mavis and Norman W. Allen, formerly of Janesville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Allen and Mavis Devon Johnson were married Feb. 20, 1948, in Janesville.
Their family includes: David Allen, John Allen, Stephen Allen, and four grandchildren.

45 years
MILTON—Jan and Gene Samuelson, 5316 N. Cypress, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary with family. Also, a trip to Alaska is planned for a later date.
Samuelson and Janis Marie Risberg were married Jan. 19, 1963, in Duluth, Minn. He is retired from Alliant Energy. She is retired from Parker Community Credit Union.
Their family includes: Ken and Rhonda Gulbranson, Cottage Grove; Rachelle and Chris Halverson, Stoughton, and four grandchildren.

Lindsey Kirt and Trevor Skaife are engaged and planning a June 21 wedding at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Rubicon.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan and Stephen Kirt, Hudson. She graduated from Hudson High School in 2001 and received an elementary education degree from UW-Whitewater in 2005. She is employed at Pathfinders, Milwaukee.
Her fiancé is the son of Sandy and Bernie Skaife, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2000, and received a management computer systems and chemistry degrees from UW-Whitewater in 2005. He is employed at The Revere Group, West Allis.
