VIOLA—Judith E. and Richard P. Nelson, 412 Turner St., formerly of Janesville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 2 to 6 p.m. open house Saturday, June 7, at their home.
Nelson and Judith E. Howell were married on March 22, 1958, at Readstown Methodist Church, Readstown. He is retired from General Motors. She is retired from Ameritech.
Their family includes DuWayne and Nancy Nelson, Janesville; Denise and Warren Clobes, Evansville, and Debra and Robert Jones, Las Vegas. They also have 10 grandchildren.

Candy and Jim Nicholson, 2058 S. River Road, Janesville, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Disney.
Nicholson and Candy Wheeler were married April 20, 1968, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Janesville. He is employed by Alliant Energy. She is employed by the Janesville School District.
Their family includes: Amy Coleman and fiancé Craig Thurs and Stacy and Joe Oehrke, of Janesville; Josh and Marie Nicholson, Milton. They also have six grandchildren.
