The bride-to-be is the daughter of Colleen and James Grandt, 3304 Essex Drive, Janesville. She graduated from Milton High School, in 2003, and earned a retail merchandising degree from UW-Stout, Menomonie, where she was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. She is employed by ShopNBC, Eden Prairie, Minn.
Her fiancé is the son of Madeleine Fryda, 302 Swift St., Edgerton, and Dennis Duoss, 225 Plumb St., Milton. He graduated from Milton High School, in 2001, and earned a political science degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi, in 2005. He is employed by Builders Association of the Twin Cities, Roseville, Minn.

Alexis Van Tassell and Andrew Lepperd are engaged and planning a June 7 wedding in Forrestal’s Parmenter Street Gallery, Middleton.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Melissa and David Van Tassell, Janesville. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2001, earned a dance therapy/theater degree from UW-Whitewater, in 2005, and is employed by the Stoughton Center for the Performing Arts and Farmers Insurance, Madison. She is a member of Theta Alpha Phi, a co-ed-fraternity.
Her fiancé is the son of Fiona and Walter Lepperd, Eagle, and the late Phyllis Lepperd. He graduated from Palmyra-Eagle High School, in 1997, is studying video and motion graphics at Madison Media Institute and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1998 to 2001.

Susan and Kevin Kotwitz, 103 S. Fremont St., Janesville, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with a picnic later this summer.
Kotwitz and the former Susan Anne Spaulding were married April 15, 1978, in Janesville. He is employed by Kikkoman Foods. She works for Norwood Promotional Products.
The family includes: Jessica Kotwitz and Dave Balscimo, Kelly and Aric Keller, Christopher and Rachel Kotwitz, Dorianne Kotwitz and Alex Kosharek, and Amanda Kotwitz, all of Janesville. They also have two grandchildren.
