Anniversary

50 years
AVALON—Beverly and Gene Bobolz, 3706 S. Highway 140, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Bobolz and Beverly Spoden were married Sept. 28, 1957, at Christ Lutheran Church, Clinton. They are retired from farming.
Their family includes: Julie Mullikin, Theresa and Neil Schnurr, and Dan and Lori Bobolz, all of Janesville, and eight grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Donna and Lee Webster, 1707 Morningside Drive #109, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sunday, Nov. 4 at Park City Restaurant.
Webster and Donna Merrick were married Nov. 2, 1957 at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He retired from General Motors in 1998 after 35 years.
Their family includes: Timothy and Shawn Webster; Robert and Tammy Webster; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

VENICE, Fla.—Janet and Harvey C. Wolter, 195 Morningside Road, formerly of Hanover, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 7 p.m. to midnight open house Saturday, Nov. 3 at American Legion, Highway 213, Orfordville. No formal invitations have been sent.
Wolter and Janet Lea Kammerer were married Nov. 10, 1957, in Belvidere, Ill. He was formerly self-employed with H.C. Wolter Builders. He is employed with Office Supply, Venice. She is retired.
Their family includes: Tammy Teubert, Edgerton; Tim Wolter, Seminole, Fla.; Heidi Sellers, North Port, Fla.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

NORTHFIELD—Mary and Virgil Kaas, formerly of Janesville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family.
Kass and Mary Schendel were married Oct. 12, 1957, in Pigeon. He is retired from General Motors. She is retired from Parker Pen.
Their family includes: Kim and Cheryl Kaas and Todd and Julie Kaas and Dale and Traci Kaas, all of Janesville; Brenda and Tom Schoonover, Arkdale; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

DELAVAN—Carol and John Eslick, 313 Holig Lane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 1 to 4 p.m. open house Saturday, Nov. 10 at Community Church, 4654 Brigg Road, Elkhorn. Omit gifts.
Eslick and Carol Schulz were married Nov. 9, 1957 at Lake Geneva United Methodist Church. He is retired from Delavan Township Highway Department. She is retired from Delavan Township.
Their family includes: Mary Eslick and Terry Eslick, both of Delavan; James Eslick, Elkhorn, and one grandchild.

DELAVAN—Rose and Richard “Dick” R. Davis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 27 with a family gathering and dinner.
Davis and Rose “Rosie” Mary Dahlby were married Nov. 2, 1957 at a Lutheran church in Williams Bay. He was the advertising manager for the Delavan Enterprise and was a gasman for Wisconsin Southern Gas Co. Also, he served in the U.S. Navy. She was a Capital Air Lines stewardess and a supervisor for the Walworth County Department of Social Services.
Their family includes: Kimberly and Roger Seaver, Rich and Cathy Davis, Julie and Paul Gerard, and five grandchildren.
