Kukla

Anniversary

50 years
EDGERTON—Judith and Warren Kukla, formerly of Janesville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Kukla and Judith Morong were married Nov. 9, 1957, in Milwaukee. He is a retired certified public accountant. She is an artist and journalist.
Their family includes: Jean Bolden, Janesville; Russell and Terrell Kukla, Mesa, Ariz.; Kris and Gail Kukla, Tempe, Ariz.; Amy and Bryan Blaschke, New Berlin; Robert and Sandy Kukla, Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

40 years
BROOKLYN—Phyllis and Donald Sanner, N8257 Highway 104, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday, Dec. 9 with their children at The Fireside.
Sanner and Phyllis Klitzman were married Dec. 9, 1967, in Brooklyn. He is employed with Honey Wagon Services. She is employed with Duluth Trading Co.
Their family includes: Susan and David McNeely, Janesville; Brian Sanner, Janesville; Brent and Kristi Sanner, Brooklyn, and two grandchildren.

Kariane Lynn Banker and Junior James Alexander were married Oct. 6 at Faith Lutheran Church, Janesville.
Their parents are Dawn and Michael Banker, Beloit; Becki Brockman, Beloit, and Joseph Alexander, Branson, Mo.
Elizabeth Shaw was the maid of honor. Matthew Schewe was the best man.
The bride graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 2005.
The groom graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 2005 and is serving in the U.S. Marines, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
The newlyweds live in Vista, Calif.

Susan Sanner and David McNeely were married July 14 at the home of the bride’s parents.
Their parents are Phyllis and Donald Sanner, Brooklyn, and the late Ilene and Chester McNeely.
Robin Rhodes was the maid of honor. Aaron Wolfe, son-in-law of the groom, was the best man.
The bride is employed at Stoughton Trailers.
The groom is employed with Hoerler Milk Transport, Janesville.
The newlyweds live in Janesville.

Judy Janes and Frank Bua were married Oct. 6 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton.
Bea Hanson, Janesville, is one of the parents.
Amy Moore, daughter of the bride, was the matron of honor. Mike Bua, son the groom, was the best man.
The bride is employed at First Community Bank, Milton.
The groom is a retired rural mail carrier of Milton.
The newlyweds live in Milton.

Meridith Louise Clay and David Martin Falkavage are engaged and planning a May 3 wedding at St. John Vianney Church, Janesville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Clay, Springfield, Ill., and the late Forrey Clay. She graduated from Lutheran High School, Springfield, Ill., in 1998, and received an animal sciences degree from University of Illinois, Urbana, in 2002, where she was a member of Sigma Alpha sorority. She is employed with the Janesville School District.
Her fiancé is the son of Mary Falkavage-Bliek, Plover, and the late Kenneth Falkavage. He graduated from Stevens Point High School in 1991 and received a chemistry degree from UW-Stevens Point in 1998. He is employed with the Milton School District.

50 years
EDGERTON—Donna and John Slagg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a 2 to 6 p.m. open house Saturday, Dec. 29 at Conservation Club, 1006 Stoughton Road, Edgerton. Omit gifts.
They were married Dec. 28, 1957. He retired from General Motors in 1985. She is a home health aide.
Their family includes: Kevin and Bonnie Slagg, Kenneth Slagg, Keith and Bobbie Slagg, Kirk and Lisa Slagg, and three grandchildren.
