Amy Brock and Cory Carlson are engaged and planning a July 26 wedding at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Janesville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Patricia and Robert Brock, Beloit. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1999 and is attending UW-Whitewater for social work. She is employed at Cedar Crest, Janesville.
Her fiancé is the son of Janet and Mark Carlson, Janesville. He graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2001, and received a welding degree from Blackhawk Technical College, Janesville, in 2002. He is employed at Kuhn Knight, Brodhead.

50 years
BELOIT—Carolyn and Frank Rubitsky, Chippewa Trail, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Rubitsky and Carolyn Hurley were married Jan. 4, 1958. He is retired from Janesville Carpenters Local 836 in January of 1999. She is retired.
Their family includes: Kim and Mike Flemming and Charemon and Jeff Anderson, all of South Beloit, Ill.; the late Steven Rubitsky, and two grandchildren.
