The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charles and Linda Pope, Whitewater. She graduated from Whitewater High School in 2000 and received a bachelor’s degree in social work from UW-Whitewater in 2004. She is employed with Rock County Child Protective Services, Janesville.
Her fiancé is the son of Deanna Ventura, Algonquin, Ill., and Marvin and Marcia Zinzow, Elkhorn. He graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1997 and is a superintendent for Magill Construction Company.

Kristin Gritt and Nathan Pope are engaged and planning a June 7 wedding at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Whitewater.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jan and Keith Gritt, Horicon. She received a bachelor’s degree in public relations and is a marketing specialist at Horizon Fitness, Cottage Grove.
Her fiancé is the son of Linda and Charles Pope, W6912 Peterson Road, Whitewater. He received a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and is in sales with KC Computers, Whitewater.

Tara Marie Troemel and Chad Philip Larson were married Oct. 13 at First Lutheran Church, Janesville.
Their parents are Tamie Nielson and Susan and Jim Burkheimer, all of Janesville, and Terry Troemel, Whitewater.
Amanda Eastman was the matron of honor. Eric Larson, brother of the groom, was the best man.
The bride attended college and has worked in the banking industry for the last six years.
The groom received a high school diploma and has been employed at Marling Lumber for the last 10 years.
The newlyweds live at 730 Sutherland Ave., Janesville.
