Rock County
— KYLE J. FROEBER, 21, 255 S. Jackson St., Janesville, at 11:37 p.m. Thursday for felony strangulation after a domestic disturbance. Also cited for disorderly conduct.
— KENNETH E. WOOD, 27, 5421 N. Newville Road, town of Janesville at 8:10 p.m. Thursday at Interstate 90 and Racine Street, Janesville, for possession of cocaine. Also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
— CALL FOR BACKUP at 10:15 a.m. Friday at the Rock County Courthouse, when a woman who had just been ordered by a judge to be sent to Winnebago Mental Health Institute for evaluation put her hands to her throat, and a deputy called for help so he could safely transport her. Janesville police responded with several squad cars. The woman was more than eight months pregnant, said Sgt. John Cowan of the sheriff's office.
— DYLAN E. BENNETT,  22, of 1532 Lincoln Heights, Beloit, charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, battery and disorderly conduct, all as incidents of domestic abuse and as a repeater, and child neglect and bail jumping, both as a repeater. He is accused of driving a car into a woman he knows, knocking her to the ground in front of 828 E. Dogwood Drive, town of Beloit, on Thursday. He is further accused of getting out of the car and striking the woman on the side of the head. A neighbor intervened, pushing Bennett away, according to the criminal complaint.

Walworth County
— RICK R. BERZINSKI, 45, of 10534 W. Parnell Ave., Hales Corners, with intoxicated driving. Walworth County deputies say on Wednesday, Berzinski drove a vehicle while under the influence of Zanax. It is reportedly his eighth offense.  
— TIMOTHY HILL, 48, of Chicago, charged with felony party to identity theft for financial gain and felony party to uttering a forgery. Village of East Troy police say on June 14, 2012, Hill tried to cash a fraudulent check for more than $4,000 at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, East Troy.
