Rock and Green counties under a flash flood warning until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday
JANESVILLE—A flood advisory is issued for Rock and Green counties until 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
A flash flood warning is issued for Rock and Green counties until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Doppler radar showed heavy rain from thunderstorms that could potentially cause urban and small stream flooding and flash flooding in the two counties, according to the advisory.
The weather service claims Janesville, Beloit, Monroe, Edgerton, Evansville, Brodhead, Belleville, New Glarus, Clinton, Orfordville, Brooklyn, Monticello, Albany, Footville, Fulton, Newark, Magnolia, Dayton and Tiffany could experience flooding.
People are encouraged not to drive vehicles onto roads covered in water.
