Kate worked at Burlington Mills, at Burlington Animal Hospital with Dr. Wilson and Dr. Sorge, and at Foster Forbes, but her greatest job was being a wife and mother. She was the church secretary at United Methodist Church in Burlington, where she was a past member. She enjoyed camping and traveling in their RV and had the opportunity to take a trip to Ireland. She was a great animal lover, enjoyed gardening where she had a large flower and vegetable garden. She was always one to maintain a kind and simple demeanor throughout her life, with one exception: Those Fall Sunday afternoons when watching her beloved Green Bay Packers - Any call by the referee against her team would result in a loud “You Dirty Bird!” aimed at the screen.

(Thomas) Jung of Burlington; step-children, Shirley (Norm) Richter and family of Delavan, and Steve (Kim) Flynn and family of Elkhorn. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Christopher L.
