JANESVILLE—Amanda Swangstu and John Krueger are asking the public for help to find their special needs daughter's custom-built tricycle.

The three-wheeler, built by Brian Reece of Bike Elves in Beloit, was stolen sometime before 11 p.m. Friday from the family's front porch in the 600 block of Cherry Street.

It is blue with white tires and has a white banana seat decorated with pink flowers. It was built with parts from several bicycles and took six weeks to make. Their daughter only had the bike for a month.

The girl is autistic, suffers from low muscle tone and is heartbroken her bike is missing, her mother said in a message sent to The Gazette's Facebook account.

If you see or find this bike, call 608-757-2244.
