Olive was born in Stone Lake, WI, to John Milford Boone and Clementine Warner Boone. Olive grew up in Northern Wisconsin, moving to Miltonvale, KS, to finish her high school degree. She attended Miltonvale and Marion College, graduating from Marion College in Music and English. Olive was married to Floyd Evans Titus on Aug. 21, 1939. Floyd and Olive pastored together in the Wesleyan Church in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Alaska for thirty-five years. Olive's first calling was as a devoted mother, and with Floyd, she made a home for their eight children. In the fifties and sixties, Olive was an itinerant music teacher covering eighteen schools in Dane County, WI. Throughout her life, Olive gave herself to teaching piano, founding and running a day care center, and in her later years serving as a volunteer, receiving many commendations. She also enjoyed music, sewing, and competitive Scrabble. In August 2002, Olive married Wilbur M. Wolf, a longtime family friend.

Olive will be greatly missed by her children: Richard (Judy) Titus, John (Kathy) Titus, Ruth (Dale) Manion, Barbara (Steve) Swanson, Marlene (Ron) Bateman, Happy (Brian) Chronister, and David (Laura) Titus; all 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Wendell (Lois) Boone, Gwen (Owen) Smith and John (Judy) Boone; extended family and friends. Olive was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Geraldine; her husband, Floyd; her daughter-in-law, Elaine; her husband, Wilbur Wolf; and her siblings: Pearl Thrasher, Donald Boone, and Ervin Boone.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 24th at the AFTON COMMUNITY CHURCH, 5126 County Road D, Afton, WI, with Phil Ramsey officiating.
