In concern of the heroin problem here in Janesville and the lack of a residential treatment center, how about the Health Care Center out on Highway 51?
In the 1970s, it was used as a treatment facility for alcohol and drugs. It has multiple rooms, including bathrooms, conference rooms, cafeteria and an arts and craft room with a Kiln.
Also a small auditorium. I understand outside of Mercy, there is nothing here for addiction with inpatient treatment. I feel this is an ideal place and possibly someone should take a look into this facility.
