Intoxicated driving arrests

--SUSAN ADAMS, 43, of 1513 Mayfair Drive, Janesville, at 1:19 a.m. Sunday at Milton Avenue and Refset Drive, Janesville.

--KAVANOUS WILLIAMSON, 23, of 352 Milton Ave., Janesville, at 12:57 a.m. Sunday at County D and Tripp Road in the town of Rock. Also arrested on warrants and cited for obstructing for giving the arresting officer a false name.


--VANDALISM, reported at 8:15 a.m. Monday to the pool at Rockport Park, 2801 Rockport Road, Janesville. About 20 pool light fixtures were smashed, causing about $1,000 damage.

--CAR THEFT, reported at 3:05 p.m. Friday in the town of Avon by a man who said he dropped off his 1994 Chevrolet to have its brakes fixed but later learned that the person who was to fix the brakes has sold such cars to a used car dealer. The owner contacted the car lot and found that his car had been sold to the dealer. The case remains under investigation.


--BERNIE P. MORAN, 51, of Redgranite Correctional Institution, charged with repeated sexual assault of a child. He is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old he knew in 2012.

--BRYAN J. STRAIN, 1811 Mitchell St., Janesville, charged with forgery. He is accused of passing a counterfeit $20 bill at EL-Ra Bowl in Janesville March 12.

--JONATHAN B. WILLIAMS, 41, of 2740 Kelso Drive, Janesville, charged with substantial battery and disorderly conduct. He is accused of striking a patron at Bobbleheads bar, 2079 S. Highway 51, town of Rock, the night of April 30, causing swelling and bleeding on the brain and a cut on the man's head.

--SHAWN A. CLARK, 28, of 1507 Manor Drive, Janesville, charged with possession of marijuana, second or subsequent offense. He is accused of possession 0.2 ounces of marijuana when stopped by an officer on the night of May 2.



--TERRANCE L. BRADLEY, 39, of 161 W. Main St., No. 303, Whitewater, with felony strangulation and suffocation, repeater, and misdemeanors: battery, repeater; and disorderly conduct. Whitewater police say on April 22, Bradley reportedly tried to strangle a woman twice and pushed her to the ground.

--ROBERT B. BRIGGS, 43, of 314 McKinnley St., Janesville, with felonies operating while under the influence and operating while under the influence of a controlled substance. Walworth County deputies say at 2:33 p.m. Dec. 16, 2013, deputies responded to a car accident at the intersection of Highways 11 and 14, town of Darien. Briggs reportedly told deputies he took medication before driving that made him tired. This is reportedly Brigg's fifth offense.

--ANDREW A. GYGER, 30, of 6219 44th Ave., Kenosha, with felony operating while intoxicated. Walworth County deputies reportedly responded to a car driven off the road at 3:29 a.m. May 6, at Dunham School Road near East Highway O, town of Sugar Creek. This is reportedly Gyger's fourth offense.

--DANLIEL A. LAFOUNTAIN, 24, of 3092 W. Main St., No. 3, East Troy, with felony possession of narcotic drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Village of East Troy police say on April 2, 2013, police completed a traffic stop and Waukesha County Sheriff's Office deputies completed a K-9 search of the car. Reportedly found were heroin, alcohol wipes, cooking tins, needles, and cotton balls.

--CURTIS H. NELSON, 41, of 8922 322nd Ave., Burlington, with felony operating while intoxicated. Walworth County deputies say at 10:51 p.m. May 3, 2013, deputies pulled over a car on Highway 11 near Kenney Lane, town of Delavan, with a non-working headlight. Officers reportedly smelled alcohol. This is reportedly Nelson's fourth offense.

--BRIAN S. PALMQUIST, 45, of 618 Pheasant Lane, Sharon, with felony operating while intoxicated. Walworth County deputies say at 7:22 p.m. May 4, deputies found Palmquist walking in the ditch on Town Hall Road near County Road K, town of Sharon. His motorcycle was reportedly in the ditch nearby. This is reportedly Palmquist's fifth offense.

--AUSTIN J. SCHEDER, 18, of W377s10445 Betts Road., Eagle, with felony receiving a stolen firearm. Whitewater police say on April 17, police stopped a car Scheder was in. Found in the car was a gun reported stolen April 11. Scheder reportedly admitted he stole the gun.

--GREGORY A. SCOTT, 22, of 23621 Dover Line Road, Waterford, with felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana and felony bail jumping.
