Madison man identified as victim of fatal crash Saturday in the town of Albion

TOWN OF ALBION—A Madison man has been identified as the person killed in a crash Saturday in the town of Albion.

Nathan Trickel, 31, Madison, died after he was ejected from a 2004 Infinity sedan, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

Investigation shows Trickel was northbound on Hillside Road at 5:32 p.m. Saturday. He lost control of the car just south of County A, and the car rolled over.

A passenger in his car, Bradley G. Pellmann, Jr., 26, Cambridge, fled across an adjacent field, according to the news release.

Pellmann has an outstanding warrant and could face additional charges related to his actions following the crash, according to the news release.

The crash remains under investigation, but detectives believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors, according to the news release.
