Your Views: Story on missing woman in Janesville merited better placement
I am writing to complain about your treatment of the story about the missing 75-year-old woman. She lives in my building and deserves better treatment than your paper gave her.
Perhaps if she were related to someone with money she would have been covered on one of the first three or four pages of the paper, but since she lives in subsidized housing with no family members in the immediate area, she was relegated to a brief mention on Page 10A Sunday. Shame on you!
Everyone in our building knew she was missing by noon Saturday, so you had time to place the story in a better position. Maybe you are waiting to see if her obit warrants more space.
