Genoa City man suspected of maintaining drug house after Walworth County deputies bust home

GENOA CITY—A Genoa City man is charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place after Walworth County deputies found 72 gallon-sized baggies of marijuana, a drying room and several marijuana plants at his home, according to a criminal complaint. 

Kevin B. Wallace, 64, of W1131 Mangrove Road, is charged with manufacturing between 2,500 grams and 10,000 grams of marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficking place and three counts of delivering marijuana.  

Deputies reportedly participated in three controlled purchases of marijuana from Wallace between December 2013 and April 2014, according to the criminal complaint.

On April 21, officers searched Wallace's home and reported finding:

-- A table with several plastic trays with marijuana plants on them

-- 72 gallon-sized baggies with suspected marijuana

-- Two totes with loose marijuana

-- A temperature and humidity gauge

-- Small marijuana plants

-- 23 water jugs

-- Germinated marijuana seeds

-- A drying room
