Steven A. Chrislaw, Jr., age 30, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. He was born April 27, 1984, to Steven and Elaine (Walters) Chrislaw in Beloit. Steve graduated from Clinton High School, class of 2002. He married his high school sweetheart, Nicole Pfeiffer on Dec. 31, 2007, in Janesville. Steve loved NASCAR, football, hunting, outdoor activities, working on the family farm and hanging out with family and friends.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Chrislaw; his parents, Steve and Elaine Chrislaw; his grandparents, Henry and Ethalyn Walters; his brother, James (Katlyn) Chrislaw; and his sister, April Chrislaw. He is further survived by his in-laws: Lori, Tim and Ryan Pfeiffer; his beloved nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; his extended family; and his two dogs, Bear and Jake. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Wallace Chrislaw; and his uncle, Tom Schulz.

The family would like to thank his Care Team at Mercy Hospital for the care they gave Steve.

Steve’s Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 312 Church Street, Clinton, with Rev. Jamie Swanson officiating. Friends will be received on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the BRIAN G. MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, and again on Saturday at the CHURCH from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Livingston Cemetery, Manchester Township, Boone County, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
