James E. Curtis, 52, died April 27, 2014. He resided in Sharon, WI, with his wife, Ceresa Curtis, and son, Jacob Curtis. Jim was born March 15, 1962, to the late Ellwood and Naomi Curtis of Clinton, WI. He graduated from Clinton High School and went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with a BS in Accounting. He worked in management at Kohl’s Department stores and The Janesville Gazette and sales for Prudential Insurance. He married Ceresa on July 10, 1999, and helped her raise her boys, James Brown and Travis Brown, from a previous marriage. His son, Jacob Curtis, was born in 2002, to complete the family. Jim joined Ceresa as a partner in their real estate business with Century 21 Affiliated and they were top producers several years. Jim loved sports and was an avid Packer, Badger, Bucks and Cub fan. He enjoyed watching all the boys’ sports and coached Jacob’s Little League team last year.

Jim is survived by his wife, Ceresa Curtis; his son, Jacob Curtis; his stepsons, James Brown and Travis Brown; his sister, Cindy Curtis, and her partner, John Rundel; a sister-in-law, Celeste Duncan, and her husband, Richard Cooper; and mother and father-in-law, Betty and Gary Duncan.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Sharon Recreation Council.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 3rd from 9 until 11 a.m. at TOYNTON FUNERAL HOME in Sharon, with memorial service to follow at 11 a.m.
