'Historical etiquette' program set for May 4

MILTON-The Milton Historical Society, 18 S. Janesville St., will host "Historical Etiquette: Elegant Ladies Tea Party" at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 4.

Civil War re-enactor Kathleen Holbrook will offer a humorous presentation on proper ladies' attire during the Civil War era and the importance of proper etiquette. Desserts and tea will be served.

Local author Pat Hall will offer a reading from her new children's book, "Ida May's Borrowed Trouble."

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and $20 for two adults and a child. Reservations are required by calling 608-868-7772.
