William Howard Harper, 72, of Hot Springs Village, passed away surrounded by his family on Nov. 29, 2013, after a long and brave battle with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Bill was a chemical engineer at Abbott Laboratories for 33 years prior to his retirement in 1996. He moved to the Village from Libertyville, IL. Bill's favorite pastimes included amateur radio, coin collecting and golf; and he acted as treasurer of the Tri-Lakes Coin Club, treasurer of the Hot Springs Village Amateur Radio Club, and a director of the Arkansas DX Association. Bill was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Cherishing Bill's memory are his wife of 50 years, Dinah; his son, Michael (Courtney) Harper of Parker, CO; his daughter, Carol (Greg) Vernon of Littleton, CO; his brother, Richard Harper of El Paso, TX; and his seven grandchildren: Ellen, Samantha, Breanna, Maxwell, Josephine, Brooke and Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merritte and Esther Harper.

A Memorial will be held on May 3, 2014, from 1 until 3 p.m. at CREEKSIDE PLACE, 102 Maple Street, Evansville, WI 53536.
