Larry “Lucky” Daniels, age 66, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born Feb. 9, 1948, to the late Leonard “Pinky” and Sofia (Wilford) Daniels in Beloit. He graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1966. Larry was a lifelong resident of Clinton; he farmed for many years with his parents and brother, Lyle “Pete”. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he was a member of the choir, taught Sunday school and served as a Deacon. Larry was a member of Myrtle #10, IOOF, and was a past grand master of the Wisconsin IOOF. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Rock County Farm Bureau and was a Clinton High School FFA Alumni. Most recently, Larry drove bus for Head Start, drove the trolley in Lake Geneva, and played Santa at Lake Lawn Lodge.

Larry is survived by many Church friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lyle; an aunt and uncle, George and Beatrice Wilford; and a cousin, William Keenan.

Larry’s Funeral Service will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 312 Church Street, Clinton, with Rev. Courtney Ellis officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday at the CHURCH from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday in Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church. Please share a memory on our website.
