A warm return after one cold winter

Spring officially comes with the vernal equinox—which this year fell on March 20—that gives the earth more daylight, warmer temperatures and more signs of flora and fauna.
After our seemingly never-ending winter, spring has arrived. Although temperatures are a shade cooler than normal, the extended daylight feels good. Add to that the sight of colorful crocuses, hyacinth and daffodils, robins and gamboling lambs, and you'll really begin to believe winter has—finally—receded.
CSI photographer Terry Mayer was out taking seasonal photos this month in the Delavan area.
