Lecture to reflect on arrest in WWII

JANESVILLE-The German Club at UW-Rock County will present a free lecture by Eberhard Fuhr, a German-born American who will discuss the experience of his family as an enemy alien during World War II, at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in Allen Hall on campus, 2909 Kellogg Ave.

Fuhr's lecture will include a discussion of his arrest and detention in 1943 and eventual internment at a facility in Crystal City, Texas, until 1947. A question-and-answer session will take place after the presentation.
