WHITEWATER—Whitewater police are searching for Cody Davis, a man police believe is involved in breaking into vehicles and stealing items from them over the past several months.

Monday, police searched a home where they believed Davis was staying. He was not at the home when it was searched and has not been found, according to a Whitewater Police Department news release.

The release says officers found several stolen items at the home. The items included: i-Pods; Nike shoes; GPS units; computer memory cards; compact discs and cases; car stereos; purses; and cameras. Also recovered were drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Davis is described as a 21-year-old white male, 6-foot-2, and about 200 pounds.

Police urge people to lock their vehicles and not leave items unattended in cars. It is also suggested people lock their garage doors.

If you have information on Davis' whereabouts, contact Whitewater police at 262-473-0555.
