Beloit Snappers drop third straight
COMSTOCK PARK, Mich.—The losing streak hit three Saturday afternoon for the Beloit Snappers.
West Michigan banged out 15 hits en route to an 8-1 Midwest League win over the Snappers.
Beloit, which won four straight earlier in the week, took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first Saturday on Ryan Mathews’ RBI double.
West Michigan took the lead for good with two runs in the second and broke the game open with four runs in the sixth.
The teams wrap up the three-game series this afternoon.
