Beloit man arrested on fourth-offense intoxicated driving charge
AFTON—A Beloit man was arrested on a charge of fourth-offense intoxicated driving in Afton on Saturday night.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office reports a deputy stopped a pickup truck for speeding at 7:10 p.m.
The driver, Adolphlus V. Crawford, 47, failed to pass sobriety tests, the sheriff's office alleges. Crawford was arrested for his fourth intoxicated-driving offense in five years, which is a felony.
Crawford was taken to the Rock County Jail, where he was held for an initial court appearance Monday.
Crawford was also cited for operating after revocation and driving without insurance.
