Police participating in drug collection event

The U.S. Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Administration are sponsoring a National Take Back Prescription Drug Collection Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unneeded prescription drugs. 

In Walworth County, the collection participants and sites include:

• University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Police Department
Connor University Center, south entrance, 228 Wyman Mall, UW-Whitewater campus, Whitewater

• Village of East Troy Police Department
2015 Energy Drive, East Troy

• City of Lake Geneva Police Department
Walgreens Drug Store, 351 Edwards Blvd., East Troy

• Williams Bay Police Department
250 William St., Williams Bay

• Elkhorn Police Department
Pharmacy Station, 3 E. Geneva St., Elkhorn

• Delavan Police Department
123 S. Second St., Delavan
