WHITEWATER--The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's Art Department is offering members of the Whitewater Art Alliance a chance to join UW-W's Department of Art and Design in a field trip to two Chicago art museums Tuesday, April 15.

The bus will depart from the north side of the College of the Arts at 8 a.m., .and arrive back in Whitewater between 5:30 and 6 p.m.

The morning will be spent at the Art Institute of Chicago to see, among other things, the Christopher Wool exhibit from the Guggenheim Museum, New York. In the afternoon we will transfer by bus to the Museum of Contemporary Art where the Isa Genzken exhibit from the Museum of Modern Art, New York, is on view. Individuals will be free to explore whatever you wished on your own at each venue. Participants are responsible for their lunches; restaurants and cafes are available at both museums.

Cost of transportation is covered, but participants are asked to purchase museum tickets at the door. Free tickets may be available is some students don't show up. Otherwise, ticket prices at the Art Institute are $23; $17 for seniors. At the Museum of Contemporary Art, tickets cost $12, or $7 for seniors.
