Edna V. Broch, 94, of Elkhorn, WI, formerly of Grayslake, IL, died peacefully at home Monday, March 24, 2014. She was born July 14, 1919, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Aaron and Signe (Blomberg) Johanson. She was united in marriage on June 23, 1945, in Chicago, IL, to Robert L. Broch. Robert died in 2007. Edna worked as a secretary for various companies over the years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the United Protestant Church of Grayslake, IL, Svithiod Lodge #1, The Questers, and the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed her family and shopping. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Linda (James) Conrad of Elkhorn, WI; and four grandchildren: Melissa Ruiz, Robert Loebs, Andrew Baldwin and Joseph Baldwin; and one great-granddaughter, Shanna Loebs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert; and a sister, Alice Johanson.

Memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday, April 19, 2014, at UNITED PROTESTANT CHURCH, 54 South Whitney Street, Grayslake, IL. Friends may visit with the family at church from 9 AM until time of service.
