I believe it's time for a change. I've seen how hard Alderman Ryan Schroeder works at representing the people he is elected to serve. To have never missed a monthly city council meeting in over 13 years is truly impressive and shows his dedication to serving the people.

My family and I see him at nearly every community dinner, event, you name it, showing his support for the various organizations and promoting the city of Delavan.

He's professional and has wisdom of the things going on around us in both the state and federal government and the impact these have locally on us.

I've been impressed that not only is he involved in government but also involved in the community, whether it's as a member and former president of the Delavan Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, or as a parent working on a task force with others to better our schools in Delavan.

Even though Ryan Schroeder isn't my immediate alderman, I've never hesitated to contact him with an issue or concern. He's always willing to listen and work to solve the task at hand. Since I can't have him as my city alderman, my family wants him as our next mayor.

On April 1, my wife and I will be voting not only for change, we'll be voting for a proven leader who's had his hard work recognized statewide. I encourage others here in the city of Delavan to do the same. Vote Ryan Schroeder for mayor!
