Edgerton police seek help in finding person who kicked in door

EDGERTON—Police are asking for the public's help to find the person who kicked in a resident's door early Saturday morning.

A resident in the 600 block of Newville Street awoke to a loud noise at 2:43 a.m. Saturday and found his door had been kicked open, according to a police news release.

Police responded, but no one was found. A police dog from Cottage Grove searched the area but located no one. The perpetrator is believed to have left in a vehicle.
