Georgiana Mae Heinz, 86, formerly of Fort Atkinson, passed away late afternoon Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Heartwarming House, Milton. She was born April 11, 1927, in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of George F. and Mabel R. (Fandrie) Heinz. Georgiana took great pride in her work at Opportunities in Fort Atkinson, and at Washara Industries in Wautoma, WI. She loved children and spent much time giving childcare. Talking about being part of Special Olympics always brought a smile to her face. Other loves include music, animals and exquisite colors she saw in nature. Another highlight since moving to Milton in 2004, has been the Sonshine Class at Roxbury Church of Christ in Janesville.

Georgiana is survived by her sister, Joyce Rawding of West bend, WI. She is also survived by nieces; Cindy (Bruce) Spitz of El Paso, TX, Janie (Kevin) Hopf of Eugene, OR, Hope (David) Spitz of Pewaukee, WI, Ann (John) Johnson of Oshkosh, WI; and nephews: Mark (Laura) Rawding of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, John (Rebecca) Kordatzky of Milton, WI, and David (Laura) Kordatzky of Pendleton, OR; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Howard Kordatzky; and brother-in-law, Ralph Rawding.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, Milton, with Pastor John Grice officiating. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI. Visitation times will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
