Darlene S. Woolever, 61, of Sugar Creek, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, at Aurora Lakeland Hospital. Born in Elkhorn, March 24, 1952, she was the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (Lasco) Drew. She spent her early years in Burlington where she attended school. In Dec. 11, 1996, she was united in marriage to Richard L. Woolever. Following marriage they made their home in Elkhorn. Darlene worked in housekeeping for different resorts in the area and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She was an awesome wife, mom, grandma, loving sister and friend. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, collecting Indian artifacts, was an avid cat lover, enjoyed latch hooking, and spending time outdoors, walking.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Richard, of Elkhorn; sons, Richard (Jessica) Mundt of Elkhorn, and Mark Mundt of Burlington; step-children; Gordon Lee, Shawn Allen, Monica Jean (Bernard) and Lynette Ann (Dennis). She is further survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; sisters; Linda (Raymond) Langdon, Mary Ramirez, Viola Johnson; and a brother, Paul Drew; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David Drew; and a nephew, Darrel J. Stone.

The family would like to thank the staff at Holton Manor, Lakeland Hospital, Dr. Hobbs and Jenny Duesterbeck for all their care and support given to Darlene.

Services for Darlene will be Monday, March 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST LATTER DAY SAINTS, 1330 Spring Valley Road, with family friend, Bill Sheppard officiating. Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Monday, from 10 until 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Hudson Cemetery.
