Steven A. Roeber, age 58, of Milton, died peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at home after a three year battle with cancer. He was born in Eau Claire on April 4, 1955, the son of Gilbert and Hazel (Hehl) Roeber. He graduated in 1973, from Craig High School and married Susan Humbart in Arizona in 1986. Steven had been employed by General Motors and retired after 33 years. He was a member of the UAW Local 95, and loved crossword puzzles, shooting pool, traveling, fishing, National Parks, Packer games, the beach, golf, Mexico, music, and telling jokes. He dearly loved to laugh and his little dog, Sophie.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Susan Roeber of Milton; his mother, Hazel (Richard) Romack of Janesville; two brothers, Brad (Terri) Roeber of Janesville, and David (Jackie) Roeber of AR; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Bruce Gray officiating.
