Report: Edgerton woman arrested for waving gun, making threats
EDGERTON—Police arrested an Edgerton woman late Sunday after she waved a gun around in an Edgerton apartment and threatened to shoot several people there, authorities said.
According to a news release, Edgerton police arrested Kristen Page, 44, Edgerton, at gunpoint late Sunday after she'd threatened to shoot people in an apartment in the 10 block of IKI Drive, Edgerton.
Police arrested Page outside the apartment. According to reports, two adults and three children had barricaded themselves in a bedroom in the apartment during the incident, police said.
No one was hurt, police said, but at one point, Page was able to stick the gun through the partially open bedroom door and began waving it around while making threats.
Police arrested page shortly after the incident, which happened shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, according to reports.
Officers later found a gun in the apartment, police said.
Page was booked into the Rock County Jail on domestic violence charges, including disorderly conduct, recklessly endangering safety and damage to property. She was also arrested for obstructing police.
