Victor L. Haman, age 51, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, as a result of a snowmobile accident. He was born on Oct. 23, 1962,in Monroe, WI, the son of Roger and Evelyn (Weiss) Haman. He graduated from Orfordville Parkview High School in 1981. Victor married Lynette Ann Douglas on March 7, 1987. He owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Stable, in Rockton, IL, then moved to the Lake Geneva area, with his wife Lynette, where they operated Lake Lawn, Grand Geneva, and Lake Country Riding Stable. A true cowboy, he had a love for horses and animals. He was an avid hunter, an adventurous outdoorsman, and a Harley motorcycle rider, attending many rallies. He was passionate about life, family, and traveling. He enjoyed buying and selling farm equipment. Victor lived life to the fullest. He had the ability to light up a room with smiles and laughter.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Lynette; adoring daughter, Rio Haman of Elkhorn; his loving son, Arris Haman of Breckenridge, CO; his parents, Roger and Evelyn Haman of Milton; one brother, Russell Haman; one sister, Lori (Philip) Piper of Orfordville; his mother-in-law, Judith Douglas of Brodhead; a brother in-law, Kirk (Brenda) Douglas of Brodhead; a sister in-law, Lisa (Kelly) McDermott of Waunakee; nieces and nephews: Wesley and Natalie Piper, Megan, Ethan, and Taylor Douglas, Bear McDermott, Joshua Haman and Amanda Krause; and a special friend, Rick Ackman, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Stanley K. Douglas; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Lillian Weiss; and paternal grandparents, Chester and Ida Haman.

Memorial services will be held at NEWCOMER-SILVERTHORN CHAPEL ON THE HILL, 3008 S. Coon Island Road, Orfordville, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, with Dan Kunes officiating. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
