Robert Lester Anderson, age 68, of Milton, WI, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, after battling cancer. He was born to the late Lester and Elfrieda (Nuenke) Anderson Jan. 18, 1946, in Eau Claire, WI. Robert graduated from Elk Mound High School in 1964. He married the late Nan Jean (Christianson) Anderson in 1966, who was the daughter of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Wilson) Christianson. He was a member of the Air Force and an employee of Uniroyal. He, later, completed a technical degree in computer repair that would relocate him to Stoughton, WI. Besides enjoying camping, fishing, traveling, reading, and singing, Robert was a devoted family man who took care of his first wife for 15 years before her death in 2005. His love and devotion was renewed when he met and married Ann (Dressel) Anderson, who brought much joy and happiness to his life.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ann; his daughters: Cyndi (Nathan) Strayer of Hartland, WI, Tammy (Martin) Hansberry of Madison, WI, and Susan (Robert) Fleuchaus of Belgium, WI; two stepsons, Scott (Meredith) and Matt (Laura) Dressel; seven grandchildren: Brant and Callie Strayer, Ben and Ryan Fleuchaus, Jake Hansberry, and Sydney and Paige Dressel; as well as his sisters, Marlene Mizer and Diane Anderson; his brother, Duane (Helen) Anderson; sister-in-law, Kay (Paul) Bichsel; and brothers-in-law, Arne (Claudia) Christianson and Joe Larson (husband of Robert's sister, the late Shirley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at FULLER SPECKIEN HULKE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Kurt Jacobson officiating. A spring burial with military honors will take place in the Barum Cemetery in Elk Mound. Visitation will take place at the FUNERAL HOME on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Robert's name to the ECHO Food Pantry in Janesville, WI, or to the American Cancer Society.
