JANESVILLE—Not even an early double-digit deficit could derail Janesville Craig’s boys basketball team Saturday night.

Trailing 10-0 to start the game, the Cougars stormed back behind 21 points from Jerry Ngobi in rallying for a 57-51 Big Eight Conference win over Middleton.

Craig finished the regular season with a 12-10 record, including 10-8 in the Big Eight.

The Cougars led by three after three quarters and used an early 5-0 run in the fourth to push the lead to eight.

Mike Murphy added 16 points for Craig, while James Morgan added eight points and two key fourth-quarter steals.

Craig hosts Lake Geneva Badger on Friday night in a WIAA Division 1 regional game.
